Lisbon 2023 Responding to the Crashing of Waves
This is a slow watch of me responding to the environment through my sketchbook while sitting on the beach at Praia do Guincho.
The intense crashing of the waves, and powerful smell of the sea air, helped me create a multilayered work using acrylic paint with a sprinkle of sand thrown in.

Live Circuit, Sanremo 2020
Watch my video of my site-specific drawing installation at my studio in Sanremo, Italy. The installation uses existing picture frames as supports for overlaid drawings, with red and blue painted paper lines connecting the frames.
I am addressing notions of the space within my studio environment, and thinking about how the lines change my thoughts about how art is interconnected.

Ride with me from Badalucco to Montalto Ligure - June 2023
My paintings are often inspired by my travels in the landscape around me, here in Sanremo. In this video, I take you with me on one of my favourite rides, by motorbike, from the bustling village of Badalucco, up to the quaint village of Montalto Ligure. It was a great excuse to experiment with an Insta360 X3 video camera.

Space and Place - Linda in Lisbon 2023
This work is a response to thinking about space and place, and how our shadows are always with us: just waiting to be revealed by light.
Watch how the shadow of Linda Braham travels through the urban landscape, and how it morphs and jumps as it encounters objects along the path. At times it seems as if Linda remains still while the pavement passes underneath, as if on a treadmill.
The audio is an important aspect as you hear the soundscape of the urban environment: people chattering, traffic passing by, and the 'parp' of car horns.

Balance, Sanremo 2020
This work considers three aspects of balance using 3 simple sculptures created from materials found on a beach in Sanremo, Italy : (1) balance and opposition; (2) balance and tension; and (3) balance and division.

Lisbon 2023 Sketchbook Review
Wander through my sketchbook made while I was in Cascais and Lisbon in March and April 2023.
The video has two parts. In Part 1 I show you each page, along with the provocation relating to the work. In Part 2 I show you a couple of places I visited to make the art, including on the beach at Praia do Guincho, and in a park in Cascais.

Feet of Movement, Uffizi Gallery, Florence 2022
A slow study of movement through a confined space as visitors wander between works at the Uffizi Gallery in Florence. I'm looking at how people move around each other, and between themselves. There's also an interesting variety of footwear, and legs.
